Boardmasters is the UK’s biggest surf and music festival – and the countdown is now on! It attracts tens of thousands of people to Newquay each August and continues to grow and expand, with some of the biggest names in music headlining every year.

2018’s event, which runs from August 8th-12th, promises to be no different, with big name acts lined up, including: Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Chemical Brothers, George Ezra, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Kano, Years and Years, Miles Kane, Declan Mckenna, Lily Allen, Feeder and many more. Check out the full line-up here!

As the music plays night and day at the festival field and on Fistral Beach, Boardmasters has another party piece to please the crowds – a huge surf contest that attracts some of the biggest names in world surfing to Cornwall.

It is part of the World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series and guarantees an array of travelling international surfers as well as British surfers all looking to qualify for the World Championship Tour. All the events are held at the iconic Fistral Beach in Newquay and all are free for spectators!
