St Michael's Mount Photo Visit Cornwall / Adam Gibbard10.30AM: Now that your rumbling belly has been soothed it’s time to head West! Oe of Cornwall’s most iconic landmarks is St Michael’s Mount, near Penzance. Here you can walk across the causeway at low tide and explore this Medieval castle (or take a short boat trip across).

Take in the breathtaking coastal views as you walk the short stretch of coastal footpath and look out to the English Channel beyond. The peninsula is home to many isolated but beautiful villages and coves. One such place – that has to be on your list – is Cadgwith Cove.
